Rare Photos Ops.....

My guys hate having a family picture taken,,, but I will have professional ones done yet!! For now,,, this will do... What a bunch of hamms! Let's try again - with mom That was a little better.... I'll get a professional group picture yet....

Rogan and the Tooth Fairy!

This is one busy little boy!! And one year for losing teeth and having dental surgery. This is before his surgery,,, not all his baby teeth wanted to come out, but the adult ones were already trying to push their way through. It was getting a bit crowded. And you can see the difference and after surgery. The teeth are all growing in together. But it hasn't stopped him from being a boy!

Where has the time gone ???

Boy, am I seriously behind. Let's see if I can do some catch up postings over the next few days. Where do I start???? Brody graduated from Army Boot-Camp, and went on to get his Airborne Wings!!! Close-up of his wings! He also got his Military License. So Proud of My Soldier!!!!

Rogan's Birthday

Rogan turned 6 !!!
My Goodness, How fast they grow !!!
His party was at Jeepers, and there was food, games and fun for all.
Calvin and Rogan on a car ride.
Then there was the pinata..... and Transformers cake.
Cami, Calvin, Cassi and Rogan...
What a fabulous time !!!!!!!

Dads New Toy

You've heard that phrase,
"The only difference between men and boys,
is the price of their toys."
Ha Ha Isn't that the truth!!!
I have to admit it is sharp looking.
He named the truck "Goose."
Says it short for Grey-Goose.

My Solider

On August 22, 2007, Brody left for Army basic training in Fort Sill, Oklahoma.
Swearing in and taking his Oath.
He is very excited and ready for this. What a brave decision
considering the current situation in our world.
I'm gonna miss him sooooooooo much !!!!!

Springtime in Arizona

Well its here!! Birds tweeting, blossoms, blooms and allergies. Our yard is bursting with color. I love our backyard. It's such a get-away for me. I really should plant more flowers.... but the roses have bloomed beautifully!! As well as a few of our other yard plants. All this color and blooming just in time for Easter!!! Gonna be great for hiding eggs to hunt!

A Visit to the Farm

Rogan's class went on their first fieldtrip. They went to a small dairy farm in Mesa. Of course there were cows. There were also goats, and chickens. The children got to feed the "kids." Much to my surprise. Rogan held a chicken. I had no idea he could,,, wasn't a bit afraid. They got to run through a hay maze, color, and learn all about the workings of a dairy farm. When we first got there, we noticed a very pregnant cow had started going into labor. By the time we left, we got to see momma and her new baby. It was a very fun filled day !!

Spring Break in California

Rogan and I took a short get away to Nana & Papa's house for Spring Break. The weather was FABULOUS!!! Rogan got in some golf pratice with Papa's tutelage. He even got to bring home his own bucket of balls, some tees and a Rogan sized club. He is having a blast! Papa showed him how to put the tee in carefully, then place the ball on top. It takes a but more practice with little hands. When Paps was out at the golf course playing with the big guys. Nana helped Rogan with a few pointers. We had a great time!!!!! Thanks Nana & Papa !!!

Rogan's visitor

Rogan had a visitor arrive to our home a week ago, via his backpack. It seems the children in his classroom take turns bringing home a moose named Mallory. The assignment is to do things with Mallory and record them, then post the events (by word and picture) into the traveling scrapebook. Then go back and share with your classmates what you and Mallory did. Mallory and Rogan had great adventures....... Who knew a moose that small could climb a tree. Liked candy canes....... Or riding a tricycle..... After all that buzyiness, it's good to cuddle up with a friend for a snuggly nap.

Thanksgiving 2006

We had a wonderful turkey day!! Davids parents, brother and wife all travelled in from out of town. How fabulous it was to have them here for the holiday weekend.

The weather was absolutely beautiful, and it allowed us to have out table outside under the trees and enjoying nature.

I hope you all had a wonderful start to the holiday season yourself.

Home Sweet Home !!

Our own home!!! Who'd a thunk?? Certainly not me!! Here's Rogan standing outside of our adobe style house. I love all the greenery and trees. Our own little slice of heaven! Backyard is gorgeaous too. I love the big tree, the roses and the coy fish pond. I LOVE this big, old tree!!! I named him Gandolf. This is a view from the added on "Arizona" room through the kitchen toward front room and front of house. In the process of unpacking and figuring out where everything goes. Ohhhhhhh the joys of moving.

Tea Time

My mom came in town a while back, so I gathered up the gals and we met for a "High Tea" at Abbey's Garden. Too fun!!! Every once in a while you need to have an excuse to wear a hat somewhere. Lisa and Cher in their hats. Aren't they darling!! Once we we picked out tea cups, we were served two pots of tea, finger sandwhiches, warm scones, and desserts (of course there was chocolate). All finger foods of course! Starting right, and going clockwise - my mom, Lisa, Cher, the Tea Lady - explaining our tea entrees, Carol and myself. What a fabulously, wonderful, girly time!!!!! Mom and me !!

Catching Up

Wow, where does the time go? Well, we finally broke down (not literally) and got a new(er) car. Tough going from no car payment to a monthly payment. But as you can see.... it is so worth it!!! Roxy

2003 Nissan Altima, metallic Pewter color, sunroof, cd player, loaded. Yep... named her Roxy! I find myself purposely having to go somewhere or taking the long way around just to drive and listen to the music! Rogan LOVES her!

FINALLY........

After 9 months of waiting... and not patiently I might add, I got the wonderful news from RID (Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf), That I past my Certificate of Interpreting !!!

It hangs well next to my Certificate of Transliterating! Yea.. CI & CT. Finally!!!!!!
